For Organisations and Teams

Build speech tools for your own languages, with your own teams, with consent handled properly.

Planned
Two modes
01

Who This Is For

Organisations whose employees and customers speak African languages. Contact centres, banks, field-service and health programmes.

Status

Nzinga for Teams is planned. Whether it is in the pilot or the next phase is to be decided.

02

Contribute or Private

modes
planned
Contribute: a collection campaign with your staff
to the library
Private: data built only for your organisation
your own dataset
Source: proof-of-concept plan, section 12

In Contribute mode, recordings go to the Nzinga library under each person's own choice. Your organisation gets a licence to the result.

In Private mode, the app builds a private organisation dataset. It does not enter the library.

03

Employee Protections

The planned rules protect each employee.

rules
planned
Consent stays individual; an employer cannot consent for anyone
Taking part is voluntary and must not affect anyone's job
Pay goes to the person, not the employer
The employer never sees an individual's recordings
Employees can leave and withdraw like any member
Source: proof-of-concept plan, section 12
Note

Pay goes to the employer only when a person records during paid work time under an agreed policy. An employer sees a recording only if that person shares it.

04

Admin Console (Proposed)

The proposed console shows a team's campaign without exposing anyone's recordings.

Organisations would also get a data processing agreement, and the same datasheet and consent snapshot as any buyer. The pricing basis is per seat or per campaign, plus the licence. No amounts are set.

05

Run a Campaign With Staff

A campaign follows the same path as any collection on the network.

step 2
